Block Veikkaus with Fold’em
- Get Fold’em and finish setup. Setup asks you to turn on site blocking and to check your phone for gambling apps, and you can do either later in the Lock tab.
- Turn on site blocking. If you skipped it in setup, tap the pill on Lock, then Sites, then Set up, and Fold’em walks you through the four taps in Settings. While it is on, the Sites page counts the gambling sites blocked in every browser and app.
- Add the app. Tap the pill on Lock, then Apps, then Add apps, and pick Veikkaus in Apple’s picker.
What Fold’em covers, layer by layer

In Safari, and in the app
On 1 September 2026 the web shield’s resolver, dns.foldem.app, answered veikkaus.fi with 0.0.0.0, the address for nowhere, so that page never loads in Safari, in Chrome, in Firefox or inside any other app on this phone. Switch the DNS setting off and every answer for veikkaus.fi is a real address again, so the setting is half of what makes this true.
The list Fold’em hands to Screen Time is ten domains long and no Veikkaus domain is on it, so that layer adds nothing here. In a browser Veikkaus is covered by the web shield above, and by nothing else.
Fold’em’s own block screen is a third thing and it is neither of the first two: it lands over the apps you chose, over a website you added in Apple’s picker and over the Games category if you turned Games on, and a Lockdown run you start can close every app except Phone and the ones you keep.
Their own self exclusion tools
Veikkaus gathers its controls on one page about keeping play in hand. It lists money transfer limits, loss limits, game blocks, a time reminder, a summary of the gaming account and a play test that can be taken with or without signing in. Under a heading for the Gamban blocking program the same page states that a customer who wants to stop can get a free licence for blocking gambling websites from Veikkaus customer service. For support it prints Peluuri on 0800 100101, free and confidential, with a helpline on weekdays and a chat three days a week.
Those blocks act on a Veikkaus account and on Veikkaus games. Fold’em acts on the handset, so the two are additive rather than alternative: one closes the operator, the other closes the phone.

What this does not do
Fold’em runs on this iPhone and nowhere else: it does not reach a second phone, a laptop, a shop or cash, and it cannot stop an account being opened. This page says nothing about any Veikkaus domain it did not measure. The resolver's list is compiled from public gambling lists that change, so 1 September 2026 is the bound on every answer on this page.
