Block Norsk Tipping on iPhone

Fold’em blocks norsk-tipping.no in every browser on your iPhone while the web shield is on, and the Norsk Tipping app once you choose it in Apple’s picker.

Fold’em is an app that blocks gambling apps and betting sites on one iPhone, and it has no end date: protection runs until it is ended.

Block Norsk Tipping with Fold’em

  1. Get Fold’em and finish setup. Setup asks you to turn on site blocking and to check your phone for gambling apps, and you can do either later in the Lock tab.
  2. Turn on site blocking. If you skipped it in setup, tap the pill on Lock, then Sites, then Set up, and Fold’em walks you through the four taps in Settings. While it is on, the Sites page counts the gambling sites blocked in every browser and app.
  3. Add the app. Tap the pill on Lock, then Apps, then Add apps, and pick Norsk Tipping in Apple’s picker.

What Fold’em covers, layer by layer

One site for Norsk Tipping, measured on 1 September 2026 against the list Fold’em hands to Screen Time and the live resolver at dns.foldem.app.

In Safari, and in the app

On 1 September 2026 the web shield’s resolver, dns.foldem.app, answered norsk-tipping.no with 0.0.0.0, the address for nowhere, so that page never loads in Safari, in Chrome, in Firefox or inside any other app on this phone. Switch the DNS setting off and every answer for norsk-tipping.no is a real address again, so the setting is half of what makes this true.

The list Fold’em hands to Screen Time is ten domains long and no Norsk Tipping domain is on it, so that layer adds nothing here. In a browser Norsk Tipping is covered by the web shield above, and by nothing else.

Fold’em’s own block screen is a third thing and it is neither of the first two: it lands over the apps you chose, over a website you added in Apple’s picker and over the Games category if you turned Games on, and a Lockdown run you start can close every app except Phone and the ones you keep.

Their own self exclusion tools

At Norsk Tipping a limit is not optional. Their pages state that a personal limit has to be set before some games can be played at all, and that the total limit is a loss limit covering everything played with them, online and in a shop. The ceiling is set by age: 2 000 kroner a day and a month at 18 and 19, 3 000 at 20 and 21, 5 000 from 22 to 24, and 20 000 from 25 upward. Lowering one is immediate; raising a daily limit waits until 06:00 the next day and never less than 24 hours after the change.

Their tools page adds a time limited pause, exclusion from single games or from all of them, and Gamban, a gambling filter installed on the device.

Gamban is the one tool on that list that acts on a device rather than an account. Fold’em does the same job on an iPhone. Neither lifts a Norsk Tipping exclusion, and no exclusion lifts either.

How the web shield stops a betting site A browser asks for a betting address. The question goes to dns.foldem.app, the resolver you set once on the phone. The resolver answers 0.0.0.0, the address for nowhere, so the page never loads and the site itself is never reached. There is no tunnel, and the resolver sees the names your phone looks up, never the pages you open. It blocks known gambling domains across every browser on this phone. THE RESOLVER, FOR EVERY APP norsk-tipping.no where? 0.0.0.0 dns.foldem.app one setting Never reached The page never loads 0.0.0.0 is the address for nowhere. No tunnel. It sees the names your phone looks up, never the pages you open.
Every lookup on the phone goes to dns.foldem.app, which answers a betting domain with 0.0.0.0, the address for nowhere, so the page never loads. There is no tunnel, and it blocks known gambling domains across every browser on this phone.

What this does not do

Fold’em runs on this iPhone and nowhere else: it does not reach a second phone, a laptop, a shop or cash, and it cannot stop an account being opened. This page says nothing about any Norsk Tipping domain it did not measure. The resolver's list is compiled from public gambling lists that change, so 1 September 2026 is the bound on every answer on this page.
