Block Shuffle with Fold’em
- Get Fold’em and finish setup. Setup asks you to turn on site blocking and to check your phone for gambling apps, and you can do either later in the Lock tab.
- Turn on site blocking. If you skipped it in setup, tap the pill on Lock, then Sites, then Set up, and Fold’em walks you through the four taps in Settings. While it is on, the Sites page counts the gambling sites blocked in every browser and app.
- Add any Shuffle app on your phone. Tap the pill on Lock, then Apps, then Add apps, and pick it in Apple’s picker.

In Safari, and in the app
On 1 September 2026 the web shield’s resolver, dns.foldem.app, answered shuffle.com with 0.0.0.0, the address for nowhere, so that page never loads in Safari, in Chrome, in Firefox or inside any other app on this phone. Switch the DNS setting off and every answer for shuffle.com is a real address again, so the setting is half of what makes this true.
The list Fold’em hands to Screen Time is ten domains long and no Shuffle domain is on it, so that layer adds nothing here. In a browser Shuffle is covered by the web shield above, and by nothing else.
Fold’em’s own block screen is a third thing and it is neither of the first two: it lands over the apps you chose, over a website you added in Apple’s picker and over the Games category if you turned Games on, and a Lockdown run you start can close every app except Phone and the ones you keep. This measurement names no Shuffle app on the App Store. If one is on your phone you can still block it, because the picker reaches any installed app. Once you turn Games on, a new install the App Store files under Games is blocked too.
Their own self exclusion tools
Shuffle publishes the policy under Natural Nine B.V. and its Curaçao licence. Self exclusion is chosen on the Shuffle Wise dashboard for 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 6 months or permanently, and it can be pointed at casino, at sports, or at both. Picking one product leaves you able to log in without betting on it, and picking both closes the login. Every request starts with a cooldown of 24 hours, after which an email invites you to extend, and the account is unrestricted again if you do not extend within 24 hours of that email. Wager limits and loss limits are set on the same dashboard by day, week or month, and the loss limit is measured on net losses.
The policy tells readers to install software that blocks access to gambling websites. On an iPhone that is what Fold’em is, and it works whether or not a Shuffle account exists.

What this does not do
Fold’em runs on this iPhone and nowhere else: it does not reach a second phone, a laptop, a shop or cash, and it cannot stop an account being opened. This page says nothing about any Shuffle domain it did not measure. The resolver's list is compiled from public gambling lists that change, so 1 September 2026 is the bound on every answer on this page.
