Block Danske Spil with Fold’em
- Get Fold’em and finish setup. Setup asks you to turn on site blocking and to check your phone for gambling apps, and you can do either later in the Lock tab.
- Turn on site blocking. If you skipped it in setup, tap the pill on Lock, then Sites, then Set up, and Fold’em walks you through the four taps in Settings. While it is on, the Sites page counts the gambling sites blocked in every browser and app.
- Add the app. Tap the pill on Lock, then Apps, then Add apps, and pick Danske Spil in Apple’s picker.
What Fold’em covers, layer by layer

In Safari, and in the app
On 1 September 2026 the web shield’s resolver, dns.foldem.app, answered danskespil.dk with 0.0.0.0, the address for nowhere, so that page never loads in Safari, in Chrome, in Firefox or inside any other app on this phone. Switch the DNS setting off and every answer for danskespil.dk is a real address again, so the setting is half of what makes this true.
The list Fold’em hands to Screen Time is ten domains long and no Danske Spil domain is on it, so that layer adds nothing here. In a browser Danske Spil is covered by the web shield above, and by nothing else.
Fold’em’s own block screen is a third thing and it is neither of the first two: it lands over the apps you chose, over a website you added in Apple’s picker and over the Games category if you turned Games on, and a Lockdown run you start can close every app except Phone and the ones you keep.
Their own self exclusion tools
Danske Spil puts four things in front of a customer on its own pages. You can set a limit on what you pay in, take a shorter or a longer break, see a running account of what you have won and lost, and sit a video based self test.
Self exclusion is not one of the four. The page carries the line that you exclude yourself from gambling through ROFUS, the Danish register it links to at rofus.nu, rather than through Danske Spil itself. The same pages state that players under 25 are held to lower limits and watched more closely, and that they run a scanner looking for changed or unhealthy play behaviour.
ROFUS closes Danish gambling accounts and Fold’em closes this phone. Neither one substitutes for the other, and Fold’em’s block on danskespil.dk holds while a ROFUS registration is being processed.

What this does not do
Fold’em runs on this iPhone and nowhere else: it does not reach a second phone, a laptop, a shop or cash, and it cannot stop an account being opened. This page says nothing about any Danske Spil domain it did not measure. The resolver's list is compiled from public gambling lists that change, so 1 September 2026 is the bound on every answer on this page.
