Block bet365 with Fold’em
- Get Fold’em and finish setup. Setup asks you to turn on site blocking and to check your phone for gambling apps, and you can do either later in the Lock tab.
- Turn on site blocking. If you skipped it in setup, tap the pill on Lock, then Sites, then Set up, and Fold’em walks you through the four taps in Settings. While it is on, the Sites page counts the gambling sites blocked in every browser and app.
- Add the app. Tap the pill on Lock, then Apps, then Add apps, and pick bet365 in Apple’s picker.

In Safari, and in the app
On 1 September 2026 the web shield’s resolver, dns.foldem.app, answered bet365.com, bet365.ca and bet365.es with 0.0.0.0, the address for nowhere, so those pages never load in Safari, in Chrome, in Firefox or inside any other app on this phone. Switch the DNS setting off and every answer for bet365.com, bet365.ca and bet365.es is a real address again, so the setting is half of what makes this true.
Screen Time is handed a ten site list of its own, and bet365.com is on it. That is a different layer with a different picture: it reaches Safari and no other browser, and what Safari puts on the screen is Apple's own restricted site page rather than Fold’em’s block screen.
Fold’em’s own block screen is a third thing and it is neither of the first two: it lands over the apps you chose, over a website you added in Apple’s picker and over the Games category if you turned Games on, and a Lockdown run you start can close every app except Phone and the ones you keep.
Their own self exclusion tools
GAMSTOP's list of participating companies, updated the day it was read here, carries bet365 twice: once as Hillside (UK Gaming) ENC and once as Hillside (UK Sports) ENC. Both halves of the brand sit inside the scheme.
GAMSTOP is the national online self exclusion scheme for Great Britain. Registering is free, it blocks your access to accounts on the gambling websites and apps of every company on that list, you choose a length from 6 months up to 5 years, and you cannot cancel it while it runs.
bet365's own words on closing, pausing and excluding come from archived copies of its pages, because every bet365 host refused this reader on 2 and 3 September 2026. Its responsible gambling page, archived on 11 September 2025, separates three things. A Time-Out runs for a period of 24 hours, 48 hours, 7 days or 30 days or Custom, and It will not be possible to reactivate your account until your chosen period has ended. Self exclusion runs for a specified period of 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, 5 years or indefinitely, and during it It will not be possible to re-open your account for any reason. Account closure is the third, and the archived closure questions page of 13 October 2025 describes reopening it: Once you have logged in, select Reopen account, where the auto reopen feature was set up, or through the account menu. How long a closure lasts and whether it reopens by itself is on no bet365 page this reader could find, live or archived, so it is not stated here.
On the phone, bet365 says the part the other pages leave out. Its self exclusion page tells the person excluding themselves that we also suggest that you remove bet365 from your notifications and delete/uninstall all bet365 apps and downloads as well as blocking/unfollowing bet365 social media accounts. That is the operator saying, of its own strongest and irreversible tool, that the app stays on the handset unless you remove it yourself. Fold’em is the layer that seals it there whether or not you ever do.
A GAMSTOP registration reaches accounts across a whole industry and stops at the account. Fold’em stops this phone from reaching the site at all, so neither one is a substitute for the other.

What this does not do
Fold’em runs on this iPhone and nowhere else: it does not reach a second phone, a laptop, a shop or cash, and it cannot stop an account being opened. This page says nothing about any bet365 domain it did not measure. The resolver's list is compiled from public gambling lists that change, so 1 September 2026 is the bound on every answer on this page.
