Block DraftKings with Fold’em
- Get Fold’em and finish setup. Setup asks you to turn on site blocking and to check your phone for gambling apps, and you can do either later in the Lock tab.
- Turn on site blocking. If you skipped it in setup, tap the pill on Lock, then Sites, then Set up, and Fold’em walks you through the four taps in Settings. While it is on, the Sites page counts the gambling sites blocked in every browser and app.
- Add the apps. Tap the pill on Lock, then Apps, then Add apps, and pick DraftKings, DraftKings Casino and DK Pick6 in Apple’s picker.

In Safari, and in the app
On 1 September 2026 the web shield’s resolver, dns.foldem.app, answered draftkings.com and pick6.draftkings.com with 0.0.0.0, the address for nowhere, so those pages never load in Safari, in Chrome, in Firefox or inside any other app on this phone. Switch the DNS setting off and every answer for draftkings.com and pick6.draftkings.com is a real address again, so the setting is half of what makes this true.
Screen Time is handed a ten site list of its own, and draftkings.com is on it. That is a different layer with a different picture: it reaches Safari and no other browser, and what Safari puts on the screen is Apple's own restricted site page rather than Fold’em’s block screen.
Fold’em’s own block screen is a third thing and it is neither of the first two: it lands over the apps you chose, over a website you added in Apple’s picker and over the Games category if you turned Games on, and a Lockdown run you start can close every app except Phone and the ones you keep.

Their own self exclusion tools
DraftKings publishes its own limits, and they sit on the account rather than on the phone: they stop one login, wherever it is used, and they do not touch anything else on the device. As their responsible gaming page read on 18 March 2026, a Cool-off means you will not be allowed on the site for a length you choose, from three days to four weeks, and Self-exclusion means you can ban yourself from playing on DraftKings for one year or for five.
The same page names three limits you can set at any time. You can cap the amount you can lose in a day, a week or a month, and set that separately for sportsbook and for casino. You can cap the amount you can deposit in a day, a week or a month. You can cap the amount of time you spend on the site in a day. It also states that in Pennsylvania self exclusion cannot be done on the DraftKings site at all, and has to go to the Commonwealth's Gaming Control Board directly.
None of that is Fold’em, and Fold’em can neither start one of these nor end one early. The two stack rather than replace each other: a self exclusion closes one account for a year or five, and the layers above close the app and the address on this phone for whoever is holding it.
Closing the account is not the same as being finished with it. DraftKings' own support article on closing an account, read on 3 September 2026 as the site serves it to a search crawler because a browser is handed an empty application shell, says You can decide to close your DraftKings account at any time and for any reason and adds Once closed, you won't be able to log into your account. Its companion article on reactivating a closed account is four steps long: sign in, and You'll be prompted with a screen that will ask if you would like to reactivate your account, then Tap the green Reactivate button. No waiting period is stated anywhere in it. Only the second route is final, and it needs a support conversation: You can decide to permanently close/delete your DraftKings account at any time and for any reason, by closing it first and then contacting the support team.
Neither article says a word about the phone. The app is named only as the place you tap to close the account, so it is still installed when the closing is done, its icon is still on the home screen, and reopening is a login rather than a fresh download. That is why closing an account and blocking a device are two separate acts, and Fold’em performs the second and cannot perform the first.

What this does not do
Fold’em runs on this iPhone and nowhere else: it does not reach a second phone, a laptop, a shop or cash, and it cannot stop an account being opened. This page says nothing about any DraftKings domain it did not measure. The resolver's list is compiled from public gambling lists that change, so 1 September 2026 is the bound on every answer on this page.
