Nothing counts toward an end
There is no date for a count to run to. Protection has no end date, so nothing counts down to an end you chose. The clocks you can see, a Lockdown run's, a release wait's or a lapse window's, are readings of a deadline the server or the run holds, and none of them is a term. How long does protection run? is the answer to the question this page used to be asked for.
The one count that is left
What Today shows is the time since your last bet. It belongs to you rather than to the block: turning protection off, starting it again, a lapsed payment and a revoked Screen Time permission all leave it running, and the only thing that moves it is your own admission that you gambled. What is the gambling free count? works through it in full, including the goal, the milestone days and the admission sheet.
Where to read it

Days, hours and minutes. Tapping it opens Your goal, with the days left to your goal in large type, how many you have done, the date of your last bet and the date of your goal.

The count on Today
What this does not do
The count gates nothing, and neither does any clock you can read: what ends a wait is the deadline behind it, never the number drawn on the screen. And the count is not evidence about the world. Fold’em can see that this phone was blocked; it cannot see a second phone, a desktop, a betting shop or cash.
Write to us and a person reads it. We answer within two working days, and we would rather hear the question twice than not at all.
