Leaving early
The exit request, the wait, the decision, and who actually opens the apps.
- How do I leave early?You ask inside the app, and the request goes to the server rather than to a switch on your phone.
- What does my keyholder decide?They keep the lock, or they approve in person.
- How does leaving early work solo?Solo means nobody has accepted your key, so there is nobody to ask.
- Can I cancel an exit request?Yes, and at every stage: while your keyholder is deciding, while the wait counts down, and after the release is ready but not taken.
- Why do the apps not open by themselves?Because the last step is a choice, not a clock.
- Why can I not invite while an exit is open?Because an open invite and an open exit make each other into lies.
- How do I turn the deletion lock off?You ask, and then you wait 72 hours.
- Who actually unlocks the phone?Fold'em's server does, and the phone never does.
