A message you can paste

Edit it however you like. It is written to be read by somebody who will be suspicious of being sent an app.

I found something I want to show you. It is an app called Fold’em. It blocks gambling apps and betting sites on one iPhone, and you would install it and set it all up yourself, on your own phone.

It lets you name one person who then has to be asked before it can end. I would be willing to be that person, if you wanted me to be, and I would put Fold’em on my own iPhone to do it.

I would not see anything you browse, which apps or sites are involved, or any amount of money. None of that is ever sent to me. If you asked to end protection I would see it in the app on my phone and I could say no. Answering requests like that is the whole of what I would ever do.

Nothing here is sent anywhere

This page has no form and asks for nothing. Copying happens in your own browser: nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored, and no request goes out when you press the button. We do not know whether you sent the message, who to, or whether they opened it. No link here reports back to us.

Who installs it, said plainly

They do, on their own phone. The blocking runs on Apple's Screen Time controls, and an app can only use those on the device it is installed on, with permission granted by the person signed in there. Nothing you do on your phone reaches theirs. If they want a second person named, they send the invite and you accept it in Fold’em on your own iPhone, which is set out at how to invite a keyholder.

What you would be told, if they named you

The card changes if protection goes off, if the phone stops confirming for 24 hours, or if protection is ending, and a request to end protection or to end a Lockdown sooner, which you answer, always reaches you. The fuller account covers all of it.
